As the IT Operations Manager, you will be in a dual role providing leadership and support to Help Desk Specialist and Field Service Engineers. The position has responsibilities that may include managing portions of the desktop operating budget, timekeeping functions, technician scheduling, assigning work orders, and managing work queues; ensuring that technicians follow policy and procedures; managing the annual PC refresh project; and taking on the technical work of more complex systems. You will also coach and mentor less experienced engineers and analysts

A thorough knowledge of PC operating systems and hardware is essential to the success of this Support Manager role. . Excellent communication, documentation, and follow-up skills are required. Lawson for Materials Management and/or Allscripts EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications
  • Requirements include:


  • Bachelorís degree in information systems or a related field required, Masterís degree preferred.


  • 5+ years information systems experience in an application support, technical support, project coordination environment providing systems support and customer support for multiple and complex projects, systems and customer groups. Healthcare/health systems experience preferred including hospitals and physician practices.


  • Hands-on experience with typical project and system/customer support: planning, coordinating, hardware selection, software selection and use, customer education and support, vendor liaison, troubleshooting, problem resolution, product evaluation, and documentation.


  • Training or experience in process/workflow improvement desired.


  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills essential.


  • 2-3 years supervisory experience.



Compensation:$75,000-$88,000/yr
