Pharmacy System Administrator: Responsible for the implementation and daily oversight of the Pharmacy application Siemens Clinical Information System. This position focuses on pharmacy systems and will identify, analyze, track, and report on any functional issues in the system as well as conduct classes for other departmental personnel.

Inpatient Pharmacist: Beyond distributive functions, pharmacists at St. Luke’s have many clinical opportunities such as providing medication education to staff and patients, providing drug information, conducting pharmacokinetic consults, conducting medication dosing per protocol, precepting students and residents, and participating on physician rounds.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • A. Graduation from a School of Pharmacy with current Pharmacist licensure from Idaho.

  • B. Knowledge of the Pharmacy department functions to assure optimal use of the system.

  • C. Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for the position, including analytical and technical skills required.

  • D. Excellent communication skills to include: oral and written comprehension and expression.

  • E. Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency &; financial responsibility, safety, partnership &; service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust &; respect).

  • F. Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence.

  • G. Assure compliance with professional/regulatory standards Assures all legal and organization requirements are met.

  • H. Assures compliance with JCAHO, OSHA and other regulatory standards.

  • Must have current Pharmacist license.



Job Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the Clinical Director, this position is responsible for the implementation and daily oversight of the Pharmacy application of the Siemens Clinical Information System. This position will attend project meetings as defined, attend required education classes, and perform assigned project tasks on time and in budget. They will also identify, analyze, track, and report on any functional issues in the system as well as conduct classes for other departmental personnel.
