Pharmacist needed for Clinical Specialty Opportunity in Drug Information!Responsibilities of this position include:
Developing a drug information service to serve healthcare professionals
Provide accurate, objective, and complete drug information in a timely manner following the principles of evidence-based medicine and patient- focused pharmaceutical care to healthcare professionals
Promote the safe use of medications in the institution.
Assist the Director of Medication Use with support for Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee activities including evidence-based formulary management.
Assist Medication Safety Pharmacist with medication safety programs as needed.
Precept pharmacy students and residents, teaching them to function in a complex environment.
Participate in performance improvement activities related to medication use.
Must be able to communicate and interact with professional and non-professional staff.
Must have good analytical, writing, clinical, computer and interpersonal skills.
Must have understanding of accreditation standards as they relate to medication use.
Must have thorough working knowledge of pharmacy operations, processes and policies appropriate to a hospital setting. Automated dispensing, bedside barcoding, and smart pump technology experience helpful.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of pharmacy required

- Three to five (3-5) years appropriate acute care pharmacy experience preferred
